Car is near the end of a 15 year restoration effort; only have interior left to do. I believe I am third owner; I purchased it from a friend who had it since about 1965 and had bought it from a serviceman thought to be the first owner. Resto work was so extensive that I judged it will never be a concours contender, so it is being built out as a very original, very solid driver (no fake "M" stuff). I hope to finish it while I can still crawl in and out!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
