Synonymous with sleek racing design and in-town drivability is the Austin-Healey 3000. Throughout the life of the "Big Healeys," most were imported to the growing sports car market in America; while few stayed behind in Britain. While the sportiness of this car is very prevalent, it lacked wind-up windows until 1962, which is probable cause for not being overly popular when new. This windowless feature ads a sweet aura and attribute of collectability to the car today.
The "Big Healeys" have always been in favor and their desirability continues to rise within the automotive collector community.
