Ebay item 7/7/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Austin-Healey-3000-MKII-1962-Austin-Healey-3000-MKII-BT7 ...
Opening bid $65,000 reserve not met, no bids yet, 2 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
After undergoing a complete engine rebuild and frame-off restoration by Kurt Tanner of Alta Loma California (one of the top restorers in the country), this may be the nicest 1962 Mark II BT7 Austin-Healey available! (VIN # HBT7L17130). The odometer shows 90149 miles but it is our understanding from the previous owner that only 300 miles have been put on it since restoration completion. A leather bound photo album documenting the entire history of the restoration with over 40 photographs is available. Finished in red with black leather, the 2+2 seating has red piping that brings an elegant look to the interior. The engine compartment, trunk, frame and chassis are as clean as the exterior and interior.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
