Car was at auction Nov. 2011
www.silverstoneauctions.com/1959-austin-healey-3000-mki-bt7-

Auction description:
Registration: NSU 746
Chassis Number: HBT7L 253
Engine Number: 29WAH3708
Year of Manufacture: 1959
Sold for (£): 23,650.00

This Charming 3000 BT7 boasts excellent bodywork and panel alignment following an older ground up restoration. Finished in white with black leather interior, there is a genuine character to NSU 746. Though not a concours example, the car is in good condition and there are only minor blemished to the paintwork. Otherwise, this Healey is ready to be used and enjoyed by its new owner. Only a lack of garage space forces the sale of this car, which has been in the current owner's possession for over twenty years. Supplied with a very rare original hardtop finished in black, photographs of the restoration and a current MoT test certificate, this is an opportunity for classic 1950s open-top motoring for a most reasonable outlay.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
