This 1959 austin Healey 3000 Mk1 was imported from the United States of America in 1989 and although it was meticulously restored it was not converted to right hand drive at that time and therefore still retains its original left hand drive format.
It is painted in Red with Black trim and is the more useable 2+2 version and has the manual four speed gearbox with overdrive. The restoration was done in 1993 and there is photographic evidence of the rebuild and the car is one of the earliest known - the 259th built.
The car is privately entered and it is described as being in superb condition throughout. It is currently tested until April next year and the exempt road fund licence expires at the same time.
A superb example that will be keenly contested at the auction.
